Queensland fridge body specialist Scully Trucks have thrown their support behind a church group as it endeavours to meet community needs.
Scully Trucks recently donated a 10 pallet fridge body to the Saints Christian Church in Marsden, part of Logan City, to help church members in their efforts to collect, store and distribute fresh, chilled and frozen foods which need refrigeration.
The fridge body is one of three used by the church as part of an operation that supplies needy individuals and families with $20 million in food annually.
Scully Trucks technician Carmelo Faranda is also a member of the Saints Christian Church, and approached his employers asking if they could help out the worthy cause, which set the wheels in motion for the fridge body to be handed over in time to help in the run up to Christmas.
